These terms govern use of this website. Use of the platform itself is governed by your institution's subscription agreement, which takes precedence where the two differ.
Use of this site
You may read, print and share the content of this website for your own institutional purposes with attribution. You may not republish it as your own, or use it to train a model or build a competing product.
Underlying statistical data
The statistical data Futurescope assembles originates from U.S. federal statistical agencies and state workforce agencies. Those source datasets are generally in the public domain; our assembly, derivation, presentation and documentation of them are not, and remain our property. The agencies named in the attribution below do not endorse Futurescope Analytics.
Data attribution
Futurescope Analytics includes data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the National Center for Education Statistics, and state workforce agencies via the Projections Managing Partnership.
This site and the platform include information from the O*NET Database by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA), used under the CC BY 4.0 license. O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA. Futurescope Analytics has modified all or some of this information. USDOL/ETA has not approved, endorsed, or tested these modifications.
The platform also includes data from CareerOneStop, sponsored by USDOL/ETA.
None of these agencies endorses Futurescope Analytics.
No warranty on figures
We take considerable care with accuracy — every figure is attributable and twenty-six automated checks compare our output against independent authorities. Nevertheless, statistical data contains sampling error, suppression and revision, and modeled figures rest on stated assumptions. Figures are provided for analysis and planning. They are not a guarantee of employment outcomes, wages or enrolment, and should not be the sole basis for an irreversible decision.
Platform access
Platform access is licensed to your institution under a separate agreement. Credentials are for use by people at your institution and may not be shared outside it. Bulk extraction of the underlying database beyond the export features provided is not permitted without a written agreement.
Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not warrant uninterrupted service on this marketing site. Platform service levels are set out in your subscription agreement.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of this website is limited. Liability relating to the platform is governed by your subscription agreement.
