Privacy notice
Short version: we collect what you send us on the contact form, we use it to reply to you, and we do not sell or share it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, work email, role, institution, region and message. We use it to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a customer, to administer your subscription.
Information collected automatically. Our web server records standard request logs — IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp — for security and operational purposes. If website analytics are enabled, they are configured to collect aggregate usage only, with IP anonymization and without advertising or cross-site tracking features.
Platform usage. If your institution subscribes, the platform records account activity needed to operate the service and support your users. It does not collect student-level records; the platform contains only published aggregate statistics.
Cookies
This marketing website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The platform sets a session cookie required for authentication.
How we use it
To reply to inquiries, deliver and support the service, and meet legal and contractual obligations. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add inquirers to a marketing list without explicit opt-in.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract — hosting, email delivery, and payment processing for invoicing — and where required by law.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Customer records are kept for the duration of the subscription and any statutory retention period after it.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@futurescopeanalytics.com and we will respond within thirty days. Residents of jurisdictions with specific statutory privacy rights may exercise those rights by the same route.
Data about students
Futurescope does not ingest, store or process student-level records. All education data in the platform comes from published aggregate statistics. There is no FERPA-protected data in the system.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS. Access to production systems is restricted and logged. We will notify affected customers promptly in the event of a breach involving their information.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update this page and note the date of the change. Questions: hello@futurescopeanalytics.com.
